Knowing Who To Turn To

You're being sued, you're accused of a crime, unjustly terminated from your job, divorce, simply making sure you're covered with the right contract or some other problem . Faced with a legal situation, it is sometimes difficult to know where to turn for trusted advice. Past experiences often tell us with whom we should not speak, but it rarely leads us to the best person with whom we should. It has been my great fortune that I have been that trusted person for my clients.

Some of you have hired me to handle domestic matters, criminal cases, traffic cases, drafting of contracts and estate planning documents, to negotiate deals and to litigate complex civil cases. Yet, it has often crossed my mind that many of you may believe I am only experienced in the area for which I was hired. In fact, I am qualified in many areas of litigation and our firm has attorneys that are adept and successful in many other areas of the law as well.

Your trust in my legal abilities is important. I hope I can assist you again with additional or future legal matters. I also ask your consideration when a friend, acquaintance, or loved one is in need of legal advice or help. I look forward to the opportunity to speak with them and earn their trust as well.

If you're ready to discuss your legal problem and begin the process of getting your life back, please contact me through my office. The link can be found on this page. In the meantime, Welcome to my blog.

Driving In Virginia

If you have ever received a ticket for reckless driving in Virginia due to speeding, you already know how seriously Virginia punishes this behavior. If you are caught speeding 20 or more miles over the speed limit on the highway, you can be charged with a misdemeanor. We’re not talking about a traffic infraction, but a criminal charge. You could lose your license. If you speed 90 mph or above, you could spend a few nights in jail. In addition to that, you will incur 6 points on your driving record which will most likely increase your car insurance. And, if you get two reckless driving tickets, you may get red-flagged altogether and not be able to obtain any car insurance.

So…BEWARE…and SLOW DOWN!
